We're often looking for a place to 'runaway' to for a cheeky weekend away and I think we've found a new favourite.
There is nothing I can fault about the St George - the welcome was warm and the service was friendly. We had a great lunch on arrival on Saturday and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. Dinner was a real treat - better food then we've had in top rated restaurants in London. Beautifully presented and melt in the mouth combinations.
Our room was gorgeous - huge bed, crisp linen, separate lounge and balcony overlooking the bay.
We went out for the day on Sunday and on our return the room had been serviced immaculately [and I am very fussy about the cleanliness of my bathroom !!!]
I've used Trip Advisor on many many occasions for other peoples opinions and reviews prior to making a booking but this the first time I've felt confident enough to pass on my own opinions of what is truly a great hotel. 

UNITED NATIONS DAY - March 2009

Just a short email before we go on holiday for a couple of weeks, to thank you and everyone at the St. Georges for making our UN Day on 1st. March such a success.

Everyone was delighted with the arrangements and especially the Afternoon Tea and of course, we have had good press coverage due largely, I think, to our having Gareth Jones, Welsh Assembly Member as one of our speakers.

We hadn't been to Llandudno for many years so when we wanted to combine a Theatre trip and a quality hotel break I searched the internet and found St George's.
I booked online and got a very good rate.

The breakfast was great, lots of fresh local produce

What a fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were looked after from the check in and very polite portage, everything was in place.
The restaurant was lovely and the food sublime, the chef's even looked after my wife who is very fussy.
The Theatre is just a short walk away down the very tidy and well maintained promenade which was very good as well.
The breakfast was great, lots of fresh local produce.
All in all a great stay and we will be back, as will many of our friends - Trip Adviser Comment

Room, food and service were excellent

Booked a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis, with a free evening meal and bottle of house wine thrown in for one evening! Excellent rates. Had lunch in the hotel on one day as well, at a reasonable price. Room, food and service were excellent. Try the Lamb shank for either lunch or dinner, it melts in the mouth. Well worth its four star rating and in my opinion the best hotel in Llandudno.
Try a stay with a visit to the theatre. There are some excellent shows to see. - Trip Adviser Comment

Stayed at St Georges Llandudno on 2nd February 2008 in twin sea front room - it was superb - bedroom well appointed and comfortable - extremely clean and warm. We sampled snack at lunch time and dinner in the evening and both excellent quality. Staff all courteous and despite on Saturday having a wedding and dinner for 110 - we had VIP treatment. Will return.
